Imo the shot put was the key event of the whole heptathlon for KJT.

She desperately needed a strong shot put to maintain momentum in the heptathlon.
Even more once Thiam produced a huge throw in the final round.

Bear in mind the previous PB for Kat was 13.92m. Final throw and it's massive.
14.44m. That could be a defining moment for Kat. A sensational performance and a huge boost to her confidence. Go Kat.

If KJT can be within striking range of Thiam and in front of Anna Hall prior to the 800m then it could be OMG time.
