Championship games this weekend - all kicking off at 12:30 so as not to overshadow the gameat Wembley I assume.

Now that Southampton have been promoted that have provided me with:
1. The player I hate the most in striker Ben Brereton Diaz. His action in getting Fabian Schar sent off was a terrible piece of acting. He badly fouled Schar and he faced up to him and they both put their heads towards each other. And the Brereton went down has though he'd been given a Glasgow Kiss.
To quote an X tweet, "We lost the match and Ben lost his dignity".
2. The player with the funniest name... Will Smallbone. I can't stop laughing, it's with reading too many of the postcards when I was a lad on holiday at Blackpool.

It didn't take long to get the first controversial decision. That brilliant free kick by Eze in the Crystal Palace Brentford game being ruled out cost them the game, but only because of the foul committed and the referee had blown far too early so VAR couldn't be consulted, but at least the referee admitted he made a mistake, which you don't hear very often. The West ham penalty one is a tight one to be honest.

The amount of space Brighton was given to score their winner WTF were that United defence doing? THe two nearest were about what, two yards away and both could have easily tackled him yet there was a bloody big hole and they stood there and Brighton scored a possible soft winner. If Ten Hag is probably out of his depth, but he to be reading the riot act to the defenders. Thsat was joke defending.
