The Last Dictator - Alan Whicker in Stroessner's Paraguay
Alan is pretty scathing about the people of Paraguay, and offers back-handed compliments about the then-President, whom the Americans were happy with. The country once tried to fight a simultaneous war against Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay - they lost. They did better against Bolivia, though.

Last in the series, and possibly the dullest. Doubtless the Swing Riots were important, and it did mean Lesley got to go to New South Wales to meet a hitherto unconnected branch of her family.
WDYTYA? Vicky McClure
A new series, and after a somewhat disspiriting first half, she did get to visit a coal mine and then Taiwan, as an antecedent was a miner who became (and died) a Japanese POW.

Comic and dramatic actor, also monologuist. Oddly managed to get this act into some of his films, which would be really weird these days.
TBF - Will Hay
Comic actor who was so smart in real life he even made it onto newsreels for being such a keen astronomer. Things tailed off later in his career, though.

The Private Life of a Masterpiece: The Kiss
How Rodin made 4 full size versions and then lots of little ones when it became a money-spinner, some more graphic than others.

Reputations: John Betjeman - The Last Laugh
He liked the ladies, and to laugh. All these repeats were marking 40 years since he died.

Tailored Stories
Another of these "oral history" cheap efforts, but a charming enough story about Savile Row, and it didn't send me to sleep that much.

Billy Connolly's Funniest Moments
A few lesser seen clips in this, and a rare blend of THs that includes Suzi Ruffell and Richard Digance. I mean, some would probably be amazed Digance was still alive.
