Kartal, Harris and Miyazaki all reached the final qualifying round but then lost.

Emma Raducanu has been drawn with Sofia Kenin in the 1st round. Boulter, Dart, Evans and Draper are also all there.

Made it to a decider after being 2 sets down, but lost in the end. An impressive effort from Britain's #10 Surprised

RE: US Open
Loads of Brits playing today.
First up Katie Boulter who eventually saw off Aliaksandra Sasnovich 5-7 6-2 6-1.
Jack Draper then breezed through when opponent Zhang Zhizhen retired with the Briton leading 6-3 6-0 4-0.

On court right now is Dan Evans who is battling like mad against number 23 seed Karen Khachanov.

RE: US Open
After five hours and 35 minutes of incredible drama Dan Evans sealed a 6-7 (6-8) 7-6 (7-2) 7-6 (7-4) 4-6 6-4 victory over Karen Khachanov.
Evans somehow retrieved the match after falling 0-4 down in the final set to win 6 games in a row.
Both players were utterly exhausted at the end.

But Emma Raducanu lost to Sofia Kenin 6-1 3-6 6-4 to Sofia Kenin.

Wink

In good company, though; Sloane Stephens, Bianca Andreescu and Jelena Ostapenko also all lost in the 1st round. And she did well to make it to a decider. If she can put together a run of steady weeks without further injury, then she should build her position into something title-winning sometime.
