The life and career bit is funny, not one court case in sight, no pussy grabbing, what a scam. The Russian Hooker pissing on him has to be rare shiny.

It’s still not looking all that great for democrats.

The “honeymoon” period appears to be over. A lot of chatter about how Harris is ahead in the polls, but she’s really only up by 3 points nationally, and only 1-2 points in battleground states (which makes them essentially a coin-toss).

She didn’t get any material “bounce” from the convention. Or maybe she did, and it was just cancelled out by the bump that Trump got from RFK’s withdrawal. Even the surge in her favourability ratings has levelled out and she’s been oscillating around -1% for a week. And that’s with most of the MMM trying desperately to portray her as the new Obama.

A lot could hang on the next debate. Or a Christian-right reaction to Trump’s latest flip-flop on abortion rights — although I doubt there will be any.

As it stands, it still feels like Trump’s race to lose.

This weekend things shifted from Harris’s momentum slowing to actually reversing. Her lead has shrunk to <3% for the first time since she entered the race.

She’ll need to do cartwheel’s in Tuesday’s debate to put things right again.
