I thought Harris did a good job, especially when she baited Trump into nonsensical rants by prodding him about silly things like crowd sizes. He really is like a cat with a ball of string.

She seemed a bit over-rehearsed and inauthentic, but she kept the word salad to a minimum and landed a few good punches. She looked engaged. He looked OLD.

The downside: the moderators were so obviously biased that they gave Trump an “out” — that’s all the right-leaning media and punditry will talk about. He didn’t lose the debate — he was ambushed by ABC.

Which leaves us today, pretty much where we were yesterday.

(Taylor Swift notwithstanding…)

Yeah it was Trump being Trump and unlike Biden, Harris didn't let him off the hook with his lies and gibberish so he looked a bit of a plonker. She also knew how to push his buttons and he reacted as predicted. Running into the Spin Room straight afterwards showed how frustrasted he was, he simply can't stick to the script.

But again we all know this is Trump, nothing new. But we still don't know really know Harris this close to the election. Again she was still light on policy, independents will probably want to know more about her economic and immigration plans. Being just the anti-Trump vote might not be enough in this tight race where Trump still probably holds the slight advantage in key battleground states where the electoral college favours him more than the national vote.

Musk's not doing him any favours though, his tweet on Taylor Swift was downright creepy

Trump has always come up with stupid remarks and his supporters have mostly believed him.
The eating dogs comment has totally blown any doubt about him being unfit for office. But he wasn't fit for office the last time.
