It sounds like the 49ers have a strong depth of squad to compensate for when there's regular starting players absent.

Disappointed for Rodgers that he wasn't able to get a win on his return from injury. It's going to take a while for him to adjust to competition. My favourite all time NFL player and I hope the Jets benefit from his skill and experience this season.

Despite a rough (and slippy) start to the season in Brazil, it's good to be back.

And don't forget that the 49er's were without star running back Christian Mccafferey. He's out for a couple of weeks with Achillies Tendonilitis or as ESPN call it a calf strain.

It really needs to be this year for the 49er's as they will probably have to sell a couple of their star players to pay Purdy's wage next year.

Having read what happened in Brazil, The NFL will probably look more closely at where they host games outside the US in future. It certainly wouldn't have made good viewing at the stadium or on TV that's for sure, and and wonder if they & the teams will put in a complaint about the state of the surface, especially if Corinthians ground staff had plenty of time to produce a quality surface. Jordan Love probably was lucky it wasn't anything more serious. If he does end up missing half the season, I reckon GB will be hampered in some way.

As far as London goes will any games be held at Wembley or Tottenham Hotspur this year could the NFL even conceive doing one in Cardifff or Glasgow in future to open up options? I think if there ever were British teams were set up for the NFL I can see calls made for the old London Monarchs and maybe the Scottish Claymores franchises being revived if it ever became feasible where it could work.

Yes there are games at Wembley & Tottenham this season....THE BEARS ARE COMING TO TOTTENHAM!

49ers 32 - 19 Jets

The Niners dominated in terms of time of possession & 1st downs, but struggled to get the ball into the endzone with just a Debo catch & a Mason rushing touchdown.

EDIT : Debo's TD was a 2 yd run !

Purdy will hopefully throw a number of TD passes tonight.

Going to be a tough outing for Chicago away at Houston Texans, but yes there's a decent chance for Swift to score as I'm sure Chicago will have worked on how to be better offensively after last week's poor offensive showing from Chicago against Tennessee

Good scrap going on now with Bengals Vs Chiefs and I'm still buzzing after the Packers win earlier - first franchise to hit 800 regular season wins!

I imagine up to a point, teams will start to find small chinks in the Chiefs that they can expose and put pressure on Mahomes. I do think Mahomes is probably one of the best protected QB's in NFL.

I'd def would love to see the Bears get to at least the playoffs this season as I think it is time they are due some good luck. Always fondly remember the days of "The Fridge!"
