1.3 To Waddesdon Manor where another under-finished entry got the nod. Some of the wild cards were really good, but none of them got selected anyway.
LAotY 2015
1.4 Cunningly, they go back to Lyme Park to set the painters a different view. This smacks of cost-cutting, or that only a few National Trust type places were willing to play along. The gimmicky linocut act got the nod.

A mercifully short summation of the 10th anniversary of this terrible tragedy, and ongoing developments. The inclusion of Bellingcat rather ruins it.
MH17 - The Plane Crash That Shook The World
Channel 4 have a turn at recounting how the last 10 years played out in Ukraine, and how whilst the CIA were reluctant to pal up with Ukraine intelligence, once they magically started finding stuff, the CIA became more interested. And then we get to Bellingcat again, and Matt Frei and others somehow keep a lot of straight faces.

"Mr McMahon" Episodes 1 to 6.

If you haven't already seen it, there's nothing much in here that anyone with even a passing interest in Wrestling won't already know. It's 5 and a half Episodes of Vince being Vince. i.e Smug, Combative, taking credit for everything and responsibility for nothing until the original NDA story breaks and he wants nothing more to do with this Netflix fluff piece.

Only 3 things in life are certain. Death, Taxes and lesbians will never look how they do in porn movies.

2.1 How Britain Made Alfred Great
No sooner have they finished one series than they've lined another up. Ian and pals look at Alfred Hitchcock's early British films, before he went to Hollywood. The great Kim Newman joins in, which helps.
TAoF
2.2 The Golden Age of the British Screen Idol
From the 1920s to the 1960s, citing Michael Caine as the last great one. Nice to get a mention of Michael Redgrave for once in these shows.

1.5 Again, a return, to Waddesdon Manor for an alternate take. Drama comes with a linocut artist trying to finish in the 4 hours, as Joan and Frank tensely tick the time down and wonder whether they can call a halt before he finishes. But they don't, and the guy wins.

On the Scent of the Baskerville Hound
Charming short doc about the origins of Conan Doyle's most famous Sherlock Holmes tale.

Betrayed: Surviving an American concentration camp
"Lessons from history" as Japanese families living in the USA in WW2 found themselves rounded up and interned lest they be secretly working for an enemy power. Some were persuaded to reject an allegiance they didn't in fact have anyway, so they could fight and/or be allowed some freedom. Survivors and descendants spoke about the injustice, which took decades to get any redress for, and how it emboldened them not to support further similar racial antics from successor administrations.

1.6 A return to Trelissick for the final heat. One of the wild card entrants is a bloke who didn't win his earlier heat, but he does make it to the "pool" of possible finalists. Is there a fairytale subplot on the way?
