The indictment of dodgy NY Mayor Eric Adams, then the Trumpified state of the American court system, focusing on a dodgy organiser with the WWE-esque name of Leonard Leo.

Ludwig episode 3.

David Mitchell playing twin brothers, as John (Ludwig) a puzzle maker, he is drawn in to a mystery where he investigates his missing police detective brother James, by pretending to be him. Didn't know what to expect, but it's a fun mystery show, worth checking out if you like that sort of thing.

Passions: I Hate Jane Austen, by Giles Coren
Tiresome writer claims to resent the adulation of a rather more successful writer, and talks to Joanna Trollope, David Baddiel and Gurinder Chadha among others, and ends up deciding she's alright after all.

1.8 The final is held at Stourhead, which is famously picturesque. The contestants get to slightly decide on their own choice of composition, and they at this stage also had commissions to prove what they could in their own time (as one of them patently could not complete in 4 hours). To my relief, the dreadful gimmicky painter didn't get the nod, some tree-lover did instead.

1.9 The commission was at Flatford, the site famous for Constable's "The Hay Wain". So the Scawtish winner got to visit the place a few times before returning to her studio back home, inbetween visits to collections of Constable pictures. Anyway, the final unveiling goes well, so that's alright then.
