NFL 2024-2025 Season

^^ I think the injuries must be reflected in the odds, it was 2.5 points earlier in the week. I believe this is the first time this season the 49ers are underdogs. Love will have to get it badly wrong for the Packers to lose, he does tend to throw a few interceptions, turnovers will be a key.

Cheers Boomer. Defense will be massive in this one. I can see one of the teams getting on top with interceptions & turnovers early then heavily reliant on defense for the rest of the game. It's hard to call.

Packers 38 - 10 49ers
All the things that I highlighted that needed to happen for a Niners win just didn't transpire. CMC 11 carries - 31 yards, they could capitalize on any turnover chances, this was the 1st game this season that Love did throw an interception, the 49er secondary had 2 chances & dropped both. Brandon Allen has started 9 games before last night, the last was in 2021. His lack on gametime showed, he actually improved somewhat after a shaky start. Some of the false start penalties may well have been down to the O-line being unfamiliar with having him under centre & his snap counts. Allen imploded later with a fumble & an interception, the inability to establish any kind of running game piled the pressure on him. The lost the turnover battle 3-0 & had 9 penalties in all, Special Teams were responsible for many of them. The one plus on offense was the return of Kittle, who was at his awesome best.

The 49ers defensive line got pushed about & Jacobs had a 100 yard game & 3 td's.

Still some doubt as to weather Purdy will make next week, even with him, the Bills should be too strong, without him it could get ugly. The schedule looks tough for the Niners down the stretch, very little wriggle-room in terms of mistakes. Last night low gives them a low chance of making the playoffs, about 15% probability.

Big shoutout to the Red Zone coverage of the early games, some crazy finishes.

Must admit I wasn't expecting the packers to brush aside the 49ers that easy will definitely sing my praises to my friend later this week

I was surprised at the amount of lost plays, even with the absentees.

The Bills can clinch the AFC East with a win + Miami loss
The Chiefs and Lions can also clinch playoff berths

Pretty early to be clinching playoff spots

I predicted a big win for the Chiefs but they limped over the finishing line. Dispite the results they aren't the team of last year.

And the 49'ers. Yes they have injuries but there are other problems as well. I'm struggling to name more than a handful of players who played well.

Also, why are some of the teams coaches wearing grey and white outfits this year?

It's "Salute To Service" that the NFL does every November to recognise & pay tribute to the US Military. These outfits will have a camouflage pattern/design of them
