Gladiator 2 - 6.5/10 some good action sequences but no cohesive storyline and a strange lack of excitement.

Extremely “meta” but just about pulls it off.

The over-the-top action sequences are probably the most boring bits. I fast-forwarded through most of them.

The best bits were probably the many, many cameos and the parts where Deadpool breaks the fourth wall to make a joke of Marvel’s recent decline.

6.5 / 10 … just a little over a passing grade

Gladiator 2.

A very average rehash of one of my favourite movies. Denzel Washington, as great as he his needs to learn that a New York accent doesn't work for every role and casting directors need to learn that Pedro Pascal isn't half as good as he seems to think he is.

As a stand alone movie it wouldn't be too bad but as a direct sequel to the original it's in the "Meh" category.


Sorry Maximus, but this time around I was only slightly entertained.

5.5/10.

Very enjoyable animated version of the 2009 film, and unlike the movie, it keeps the original comic book ending
Hope the same group of people adapt Doomsday Clock.

Solo
