RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
I think Steve was lucky, if anything, to be in a strong enough position that WWE had to treat his health more seriously. He had 2 years after the piledriver before he had to take time off to sort his neck out, and I think there were more "angles" to keep him from having to wrestle to string that 2 years out. Though he did a pretty busy schedule, the business moved on, and he began to fade into the GM type role.

Given there were clusters of knackered necks around 20 years ago (eg Edge, Lita), and there don't seem to have been as many recently, then clearly changes have paid off.

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
So the 1st ever Women's US Champion will be decided in a tournament that started on Smackdown last night, with the final taking place at Saturday Night's Main Event next month.

I think the final will be Chelsea Green v Piper Niven with Piper winning after turning on Chelsea which has been teased on Smackdown recently

As long as you're ready for her being a heel, which always seemed likely. If she lasts, she might turn face sometime after Chelsea beats her for the belt at WM.

But then, bear in mind how good my predictions generally are, eh?

I am, in my many years of supporting Piper Niven/Viper (became a fan in 2017) I've seen her wrestle as a babyface & also as a heel. Piper & Chelsea are both heels at the moment anyway for me

My predictions aren't that good anyway most of the time Smile

Clearly WWE think more of Breakker than Knight. Or maybe the latter had his 4 month fun and that's it.

A very odd booking decision. I wouldn't be surprised if Knight wins it back at Saturday Night's Main Event.
