RE: Forum Awards 2024 - Voting
***LONG POST WARNING***

Prepare to be bored Bounce

Where do I even start, I feel like the aftermath of storm Darragh, completely blown away by all your kindness thank you so much for my nominations.

To some this is a meaningless, pointless charade, in reality I'm pretty sure it's original conception was with the intention of fun & definitely not to be taken too seriously, win or lose. To that end I always try to buy into these Awards & enjoy them for what they are.

Despite the fun element I don't take being nominated lightly or take it for granted that it will keep happening, some of it will be by fluke some worked for to an extent. The fact that members go out their way to nominate gives it all the value it needs.

On the surface being nominated in 5 categories suggests I need to get out more, but somehow I manage to do both. I still find pleasure in posting, it isn't a burden at all. My original intentions were to wind down posting activities this year but something changed that plan.

Proud again to receive a nomination for the POTY Award, more so for the others nominated this year & in the past that I hold in high regard.
Written posts carry many challenges, striking the right tone, being misinterpreted/unintentionally offending others. None of this comes easy to me, I was shite at English, some of you will have spotted that, but I make the best of it. The dangers of repetition are constantly in my mind, there's only so many ways to describe how you admire a babes tits & arse, I'm sure Rammy will agree.

As it is getting harder year on year with the decline of the channels to put a positive slant on proceedings I've got drawn towards non-babe posting more than ever, although there are still some beacons of hope with some babes still dazzling. I know a bit about everything, but I'm an expert at nothing, so I'll have a crack at posting on most subjects, but try to swerve politics, I was something of an anarchists in the past but have mellowed slightly. I do enjoy just scanning those threads safe in the mind that most are better qualified than myself to navigate them untroubled. Clearly drawn against some top posters in that category, definitely punching.

There's no queue to hear me sing & definitely no heroics, but I've been nominated among a cracking bunch, so no complaints there.

The Thread of the year nomination has given me great pleasure to receive. It always looks a bit selfish to embark on a diary type thread, my intention was for it to be inclusive & some of you joined in with posts & thanks so it worked on some level. Picking a subject that I'm passionate about is a good excuse for a bit of self indulgence. The 3,000 views looks ok, although I wonder how many of those belong to me.bladewave

Lastly this one I have to fess up & admit I went after. Earlier in the year I threw down the gauntlet to SecretAgent that I would be battling for his title. My previous view of Fanboy's was a negative one, obsessive, delusional, & somewhat unhinged. But then I figured our reigning champ is a good example of a balanced individual, a good lad.
I realized that was the type of Fanboy that I should aspire to be, & then I wondered why I hadn't been recognized as such in the past. I was a textbook Fanboy of Daryl Morgan, but a lot of that predated this Forum. Next came my main reason for joining this Forum, Kelly Bell, my user title has me as owned, & I will forever me owned, Kelly has confirmed this.
Last but by no means least comes Sara Matty who had to share my attention with Kelly for a while before her babeshow retirement, & then Sara vanished some time after. But thanks to BS for bringing her back, from who knows where, I have a new found enthusiasm. My intensions to post & call less have been put on ice for the time being.
i can boast that I've called on every studio appearance. But more worryingly Sara's Forum thread contains 126 replies of which 76 are by me, that is after having the most post in Sara's old BS thread & S66 thread. If that makes me obsessive, guilty as charged.Smile
Now you'll all tell me that I was nominated for my general Fanboyism Blush I'll admit to sharing the love but I know where my loyalties lie. Important Heart
Anyway if you are sick of me after all this, then blame Sara/BS, without this turn of events you'd all be hearing a lot less of me on here.

To makes things clear, I don't post for awards, I post because its what I like to do, simple as. It's all about the taking part not the winning. When you sign up here you are already winning.
I can honestly say that I will take more pleasure from other members success in these awards than my own including these nominations if that is were it ends.
For this to be a thriving community we need it to be a collective effort & we should take individual responsibility to endeavour to make this a welcoming place.
These Awards are great way the showcase this Forum & it's diversity.

Finally my thanks goes to Forum Awards for pulling this all together.

Have fun everyone. Smile

Peace Out Heart

Boomer

Thank you so much everyone for my nominations, both individual and for the thread I am involved in running. It's a nice feeling to be thought of in different categories.

I have submitted my votes for each category and I say thank you to Forum Awards team for putting this together. I look forward to the final ceremony.

Thanks again and best of luck to all nominees.

Kindest Regards,
Reg

That was exactly my intention lol but (in my Pacino accent)

'just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in'

I hardly watch the channels live anymore (through want, sleep or other activities) but just didn't have the heart to leave any remotely interesting scripted recordings un-uploaded. Hopefully if joeman can get current shows uploading going, on top of the vintage gold he's dealing with, then I can finally retire from this. Surprised he didn't get an unsung hero nomination too but I missed the nomination stage so I can't complain.

Thanks for the nomination by the way, and good luck to all. Despite the quailty of babeshow declining the forum is still going strong

Thank you for the nomination guys, appreciate it

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy
