4.8 The final takes place at Greenwich Park, with a complicated view which the three finalists take in different ways. The sole lady contestant, despite being perhaps less accomplished than the other 2, gets the win.

4.9 Having won, the commission involves a holiday in Macedonia, to commemorate the somewhat forgotten Salonika campaign in WW1, and the battle of Kosturino Ridge. There's some comparison with Sir Stanley Spencer, but the finished painting looks little like anything of his. They all like it though (I wasn't mad on it).

Anyway, another good series, and now a gap before the next one.

I loaded the first episode by accident thinking I’d clicked on Slow Horses. Watched for ten minutes … then binged two full seasons in four days.

By the writers who brought you Ted Lasso. A bit saccharine and ‘feel good’, but very well written, with great characters, and some really funny dialogue.

If you thought the American version of The Office ultimately did The Office better than The Office did, then this is arguably a better, more watchable version of After Life.
