I would like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation for Nessi who gave us a very interesting first show and has great potential for many more pleasant nights to come, and for Amanda who did not interfere with Nessi's performance at all and in a way supported her in a positive fashion.

I wanted to check, if the stream works for tonights highly anticipated show.

They are currently running a highlight reel of Lydia's flashes

So whoever is in charge at the moment has good taste

Yip, it depends on the lenses of the objective.
In German, there is a technical word for "Auflagemaß". The focus should be hold in zoom and shouldn't drive away (sharp focus zoomed in and also focused when zoomed out) . I don't think the camera operator even knows anything about this technical issue.

Seems like they fixed the focus issue, though. Looks way better.

Maybe they just use a different camera. It was just one camera with this issue last night.

yeah were back with the dodgy camera focus once again with the main camera, using larger focal length or zoom the focus is ok, but when he pans back to probably the default focal length, the camera operator appears to be letting the camera use autofocus and its constantly searching/refocusing in/out and very off putting.

I had the issue with an old SONY camera that was fine with manual or autofocus, but when i set minimal focal length for the lens, it always struggled to stay focused on the shot.

The other thing could literally be the lens needs cleaning or adjusting but its only just started happening recently.

The other camera being used is perfectly fine, just happens to be the main one their using most of the night!

Interesting... I think it's way better than last night.

Maybe I just don't have an eye for it... and I am happy with BS24 if something is not total garbage. In other words: The picture quality is still pretty bad for 2024, but if you compare it to before their upgrade, I am pretty happy.

Its more notiicable with the better quality unfortunately because now everything should not appear blurred or smoothed out.

Last night was worse because he was at minimal length for the wide shot to encompass both of them and it was really struggling to focus on anything. The tighter shot he uses (closer) the better it is.

Im no photographer but had i noticed what its doing, (which he clearly cant or doesnt care) I would certainly have swapped the 2 camera's over as a temporary solution until it can be adjusted/diagnosed


TBH Ill be happoy if we just get a good show from Nessi tonight

the real question is how long will 'Nessi' be here tonight? If she tells us can someone let us members know

She started at 9. So I think it will end at 4.
