Silo S2 Ep1

Rebecca Ferguson is back in this excellent series - The events that concluded with season1 are explored in this first episode of season 2 and even though there's not a lot of dialogue in this episode, it's still a cracking episode. This Post Apocalyptic sci-fi series I have found to have maybe 'flown under the radar' a bit but it's worth a look if your into that type of stuff.

This particular episode has some flashbacks (I can't say too much because of any spoilers I may unintentionally give away) - It's suspenseful, gripping, perhaps a bit of a slow burn (but that doesn't detract from what a quality sci-fi series this is imo). The end of this 1st episode ended on a bit of a cliffhanger and from what I've read this show has been commissioned for a further 2 seasons (S3 + s4).

Excellent series imo.

Alistair Sooke fronts this 2019 series, though someone else dubs the linking bits for some reason.

Calligraphy, a cunning cryptographic ruse to thwart the sorts of dimwits who feel Greek letters are too fiddly to learn. Americans, in other words.

11.11 The £10k commission was to paint Lorraine Kelly. Our winner, who turns to out be 29, an amateur, and trans, and whose extra painting in the final was an open-leg shot of his lady friend, got on with Lorraine like a house on fire. He expressed doubts (unsurprising given the scale of the task, so called on judge Tai for some morale boosting, which no previous winner has bothered with). Anyway, as usual, they all loved the finished painting, which to be fair, was easily the best he did in the whole competition.
