Tuck shops, classic ads, horror themes replaced by sci-fi ones, Robert Elms, Woolworths Pic n Mix, and, yes, Spangles (discontinued in 1984, so no, I don't remember them).

5.9 The commission sees the winner going to Venice to homage John Ruskin. Judge Kate manages to tag along for a while. The finished picture gets the thumbs up from RIBA, but it's a giveaway that the judges picked out someone in a similar idiom to Ruskin. Had they picked anyone else, it would have been quite the clash of styles.
