There's also the controling of lucrative trade routes angle. Trump apparently admits the climate is changing enough to open up former ice bound routes but isn't saying why he thinks it's happening! If not through green house effects then why? But then this is the man that thinks coastal erosion is just a new opportunity for beach front properties.

If Trump is going to deal with Russia he has to be very careful or he'll be screwed over by Putin, but should we bailhim out if he does?

I think Putin knows he can screw Trump over hard, and if that happens I wonder how the American public will react to it. Putin to me is a man that we the West can't do proper business with.

Coluldn't have put it any better myself and I'm surprised that there isn't more in the European Parliament (and here) like him.

While the rest of the world wakes up, smells the coffee and now sees Trump for what he actually is (a first rate bully), the American people still haven't done so.
Trump has done far more to put the world on to a seriously dangerous path since his inaugauration and I just wonder how much of the recent condemnations by other leaders & parliamentarians across the world is actually making news in the US papers and how much of the press actually agree with what they are saying and are following suit and being outspoken on Trump.
IF Trump wants to throw his toys out of the pram when he doesn't get his own way - let him, as all it will do is make the US more isolated.

And America needs to look at just how old a person should be to be able to be POTUS a lot more closely than ever this is what you get when you have successive older men in the White House. US Poltics has gone from one extreme to the other in just a few short months.
