The favourite to replace Zelensky via an election is the former army commander in chief Zaluzhnyi, who Zelensky fired after an interview with the economist where he broke ranks on the narrative of the war and called it a stalemate.

A poll conducted last year showed the two men being the only candidates to meet the threshold for a run off and gave Zaluzhnyi a 68% chance of winning said run off.

Zaluzhnyi wants to escalate the war, lowering the conscription age in order to find an extra 500k troops and wanted a more ambitious counter offensive in 2023 that would have seen Ukraine cut off Crimea (which is a large part of what this war is about & is a worse case scenario for Putin aside from Ukranian membership of NATO) but was blocked by The Biden Admin.

Trump and Vance are an absolute international disgrace and should be called out as such. But they won't be and the real aggressor in Putin will get away unscathed. All this US administration cares about is $$$$$$$$$$$.
