Talking Movies
Tom Brook n pals discuss the Oscar results; 3 shows in 3 weeks for once. He loved the Latvian animation that won something. No mention of Conclave being hyped and then not delivering (he did enough on Emilia Perez).

HARDtalk: Badiucao
Stephen Sackur talks to a Chinese cartoonist in Taiwan; he may be most famous for a work with a gun-toting Xi stood over a dead Winnie the Pooh. Sackur tried to make him feel guilty for the risks to his family, and the rest of the discussion didn't really get far.

The Listening Post
Among others, a look at the hypocrisy of the Anti-Defamation League and its dubious mouthpiece, Jonathan Greenblatt.

Political Thinking w/Receding Forehead Robinson : Rishi Sunak - Lessons from Downing Street
A double length special of tiresomeness, where Rishi tries to find sympathy despite being repeatedly useless. Even with offered an easy question like "wouldn't you have been better taking time over things?" RS can't sum up any spark of history into which he might fit to explain things. Arguably the only interesting snippet that was new to me is that Sunak was a Wykehamist, like Geoffrey Howe, Lord Snooty Rees-Mogg, Robyn Hitchock and Joss Whedon (eh?)

21/40 Gail Davis gets to talk on an Introduction to Life Drawing, which involves a nude lady, Anjie. Whether her art posing was comparable to the babeshows is another matter. Candle wax and charcoal made up part of the picture.
22/40 Amy Dury talked on Mixed Media Portraiture, which leads to a flat picture (not on an easel, that is), using candles, crayons and watery inks.
AotY - M
23/40 Polly Pincott talked on Tricks to Finding Likeness, and picked a tricky photo to work with and from.
24/40 Tom Croft talked on Self Portraiture, using a low angle shot of his own face.

9 - Celtic
No spearmint, but instead Egg Stornoway, Barra scallops and a meatball pizza, with deep fried pizza to finish.
AREF
10 - Newcastle United
To the last of this series, with the PB Perry burger, chicken souvlaki, fejuada with beef picanha, which were all fine, and then pease pudding, which was lumpier.

Overall, another enjoyable series from AR, and hopefully he'll get a 2nd series, as there are loads of clubs left to check out.

Late Night w/Seth Meyers
First he spoke with amusing actress Amanda Seyfried about peacocks and crochet, and ageing Don Johnson about crocodiles and boats. Then later he spoke to the even more ageing Robert de Niro, actress Kaitlin Olson, and author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (small world).

Somewhat random repeat from 1976, with His Braggness managing to keep questions somewhat work-related.
A Film 93 Special: Robert Redford
Barry helps the craggy-faced actor-director talk A River Runs Through It, a largely forgotten fly-fishing flick with Brad Pitt. We've got Mortimer & Whitehouse these days anyway. This was the interview where Bob suggests Paul Newman was senile, a harsh (and probably untrue) jest.

Parkinson: The Richard Burton Interview
A chat from 1974, reflected from 1995. He did some cheap laughs, some impressions which were variable, and told of the time he did the To be or not to be speech in German for members of an audience.
