World Snooker Championship 2025

I'd like to see Ronnie win but if not, maybe John Higgins as I think he would be one of the oldest to win the title in the current era and possibly I think this could be his last shot at the title. My outside seed to win would have to be Jak Jones - after his run to final last year, I think if he can show that same kind of mental toughness and temperament he could win.

I'm hedging my bets on Ronnie, Judd and Zhao Xintong. 3 players out of 32, that means I have about a 10.67 to 1 chance of winning. I'm not predicting who's going to win, I just bet on my favourites. I find it impossible to predict a winner, so many surprise finalists and semi finalists this season, several different tournament winners. I would never have predicted before last years tournament that the final would be Kyren Wilson v Jak Jones.

It was a strange match in a way.
Lei Peifan won 2 in a row.
Then Wilson won 6 in a row.
Then Lei won 7 in a row.
Then Wilson won 3 in a row.
Then Lei won the decider.
But the Scottish Open champion from China held his nerve admirably in the end to clinch it.
