Everest - The South West Face
Charming reflection back almost 50 years to Chris Bonington's expedition team making the first ascent of said Mountain via said route. Several survivors told their tale, not least Doug Scott, one of the two men who actually made it to the top (CB didn't manage it until 10 years later). They had mixed views on the current trend for any old Tom, Dick or Harry being able to be guided to the top.

The Sky at Night - Queen of Pulsars
The story of Professor Jocelyn Bell Burnel, who discovered pulsars and watched as other (male) members of her team won the Nobel bloody prize and she didn't. However, as she charmingly put it, missing out meant she was awarded loads of other similar gongs, which she probably wouldn't have if she had got the big one. Her career was also hampered by being forced to work wherever her husband did (he was in the same business, mind, it's not like he was a shoemaker or something).

Judi Dench in Conversation with Richard Eyre
A BFI "in front of a live audience" treat about her film career specifically, and pretty solid stuff, from 2015.

The Fog of War - Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara
Reflections on the near miss in 1962, and then struggles over Vietnam. The S stood for Surprise, too.

RE: What TV show did you last watch?
Alien: Earth Episodes 1 & 2

I'm unsure what to make of this at the moment, on the positive side I'm still watching it and I will watch episode 3 when it's released. The way it's been made has given that claustrophobia / Haunted House vibe that was evident throughout the first Alien movie. It's also added small but visible traits from the second instalment (Aliens).

The story itself does drag on a bit but I was still not put off. The "Synth" origin is pretty good and the whole series is held together by their characters imo.

Overall not bad, not great but just enough to peak my interest Smile
