Another re-telling of the John Stonehouse story.
The Real Stonehouse
Still another re-telling of said story, but with Robin Butler to give the "annoyed establishment" side, and Edwina Currie offering the "salacious yet handsome" perspective, at least one family member was involved, albeit one who'd written it up for a book.

5/8 He visits a new place at Stafford, then makes another trip to Bradford. He finds many quirky bits he's happy with, most of which then sell, sometimes to other dealers.

6/8 To Macclesfield for a ceramics auction fronted by Adam Partridge, no less, then visits to a place at Keighley where he checked out 2 dealers and made some small gains. Finally, his old pottery teacher turned up with a piece of his early work, which moved Johnny quite a lot.

Disconnected: Life in a Disruptive, Digital Age / Big, Beautiful Tariffs
Two FZ specials - the former identifies 2012 as a tipping point when smartphones started turning people into terrified morons, while the latter reiterated the short and predictable history of American tariffs, and why they're going to defeat their own object.

Our Lives: The Film I'll Never See
Dave Steele discusses living with a dwindling eyesight, which deteriorates even further during the making of the film. He's retrained (!) as the "Blind Poet" to cope.

7/8 To Newark Air Museum to pick bits out of an old warplane, then to a kind of antiques hub in Blackpool where he finds some quirky stuff that later sells.

Garbo: Where Did You Go?
How an aspiring Swedish actress met the wrong man, went to Hollywood, made hugely successful films, and eventually decided she could do without it.

The Bottom Line
Steve Clemons talks to Professor John "book out" Williams about the parlous state of the US Democrats, then later to Anja "book out" Manuel and Ravi "book out" Agrawal about whether Trump has deliberately pushed India into the arms of his arch enemies.

8/8 The lease comes to its close, but Johnny and Bev make one last trip out, to Ripley Castle near Harrogate. Will Johnny do another series? I'd hope so, but he'd probably need a different angle on it.

Wednesday Season 2 Episode 6 - "Woe Thyself"

A brilliant episode, Wednesday and Enid swap bodies with hilarious results ("Road Kill Pot Pie" laugh), altogether whilst Wednesday is trying to continue her investigation.
I'm really liking this series and there's even a great cameo in this episode Smile
