I honestly wouldn't mind it if that happened because Brock does not job to anybody , i mean you had Goldberg but i don't really count that as that was just special treatment to Goldberg.

And after deeply thinking about it after the match finished , as much as i wanted Edge , it just completes the full set of who Cena has faced from his era , i do agree in the end that Gunther was the right guy to retire him as WWE needs to move on to the next guy , it wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Will Gunther now be booed for ending that match the way he did when he next wrestles?

I think part of the reason why people booed Trips was because they did John dirty this retirement year.

The whole turning heel part had no pay off and was a waste of time. Maybe The Rock getting sick maybe changed things. The Travis Scott fall out too.

I can get him loosing to Brock but the way he lost was unacceptable.

The batton was passed on to Dirty Dom which was brilliant. No one wanted Gunter, he's already established. Limited in the ring.

You can see how its going to go though. He retires Goldberg, now Cena. AJ styles retires next year so maybe he takes him out too and becomes the new Legend Killer, queing up a run in with Orton.

Good job Cena is a true professional, he might make the odd cameo appearance but I believe him when he says hes done in the ring.

I now wonder if they missed the perfect trick & ending, by not having AJ V Cena for the last match, given how the match they had a while back was so good.

Absolutely agree with all that which is why i liked it apart from the Dom bit as i don't like him , nothing to do with him getting his way because he is Rey Mysterio's son , i just don't like him and i don't believe the batton has been passed to him by just winning the IC Belt.

I mean i do like him in the company , so my hate for him is not that deep , him and Liv are funny together , just as long as he doesn't achieve anything.

Also i didn't know about the Scott falling out thing , so nothing really helped in the long run.

That last match they did was clearly something Cena wanted (I suspect he'd have been up for a chance with Danielson if it weren't already too late).

The premise of Gunther seeing Styles (and then Orton) off sounds half-decent

Think Brock Lesnar is set to retire at Summerslam 2026 so that's another posibility if they are intent on building Gunter as a new legend killer.

Gunther had to be escorted by security to the bus; that's some old school heel heat right there. He might be the last true heel in professional wrestling. That's why it had to be him.

If Jericho returns, that can be another name for him to bury

So as rumoured Austin Theory was revealed as the Masked Man last night on Raw

New shorter haircut did make him look different, I've got to admit I initially didn't recognise him when he took the mask off.

Let's see what they do with him going forward and whether this push lasts

It feels like if this doesn't work then nothing is going to work for him, this will be his what 4th different go around on the main roster now.
