It all went bad for the Chiefs in tonights match against the Chargers.
They were 3 points behind and getting close to field goal range. When Mahomes got injured and had to be helped off the pitch and down the tunnel.
His replacement can on and managed to connect with Kelsie, well within field goal range.
There was 15 seconds left and to everyones surprise he decided to have another go at connecting with Kelcie, and got intercepted.

Mahomes is having a MRI scan on his injured knee tomorrow.

Chiefs out of the playoffs this year.

How shocking does that sound - Kansas City out of the playoffs. First time since 2014 they won't qualify for the end season.

Bad decisions and at times, bad attitude, has cost them.

Wouldn't surprise me if Mahomes is done for the season now, if there is even a slight hint he is less than 100% I definitely wouldn't be playing him for the final 3 games

Early indicators seem to suggest it doesn't look great as well

I'm interrupting this regular programming to say for the 10th time.....

Injury bug hitting hard to some star players today

I was really liking the look of the Packers, Love has looked in great rhythm & it's all about peaking at this time of year. They have a great defence which has been elevated to another level with Parsons, without him they fall back into the rest of the pack if you pardon the pun.

I thought that the Seahawks had been going under the radar even to the extent of seeing this weeks TNF matchup with the Rams as a rehearsal for the NFC Conference Championship. One big question mark is still Darnold after a poor playoff outing for the Vikings last season.
Now I'm questioning their credibility after struggling to put away the Colts led by Old Man Rivers. After trailing 12-13 in the 3rd quarter they added 3 more field goals to the 3 they'd already made to squeeze past the Colts 18-16. With respect to the opposition that is hardly Championship quality.

Right off Josh Allen at your peril. Pats up 21-0 with less than 2 minutes remaining in the 1st half & then from that point the Bills score 35 points to the Pats 10.
Much of the Pata offence was down to 2 long runs by TreVeyon Henderson, Drake Maye didn't contribute much.
Allen & RB James Cook gave the Bills a more balanced attack.

Cowboys 26 - 34 Vikings
After last night I'm beginning to see why the Vikings have put their faith in J J McCarthy, he is an uncut diamond, but must surely have to learn how to give up on a play & slide, he wont last long in the NFL diving head first.
Next Gen Stats has the Cowboys as having a 1% probability of making the Playoffs. Even the leagues most reliable long kicker Brandon Aubrey missed 2 field goals after only missing 2 others all season.

Proud of my Lions who went toe to toe with perhaps the best team in the NFL right now. When Hutchinson got the interception I thought it was going to be Lion’s night, but a terrible third quarter changed that. Really need to address this defense in the off season but I can’t see Lions winning out. Steelers maybe, Vikings probably, but Bears at Soldier Field…nope!
