If you think all tariffs are soley passed on to the consumer you could not be more wrong with debate over who will actually pay the money But there's also evidence that in some cases foreigners might lower their prices and therefore implicitly pay some of the tariffs. Further recent polls suggest US consumers are in favour of how Trump is revitalising the US economy GDP 5%, low inflation, Big Tax cuts [via Tariff revenue] and lowering of the trade deficit in the last quarter.
