Sorry about this guys but I'm gonna express my opinion.
I don't understand why the two threads about this channel have become so "hot" so to speak. It has to be the worst channel I have ever watched. Don't get me wrong, I think there are some pretty hot females on there but the overall production of the channel sucks arse big time. Its like the producer has his balls in a vice being operated by a cellcast employee. There is next to no nudity, the camera work is shoddy and the girls are extremely tame compared to the girls on other channels. So someone please tell me....... Why??

Mostly these two threads have gone post happy due to the April Effect, other than that SuperSpurs filled in some of the blanks about some of the Channel's production last night...

I get the impression that this channel is distinctly underfunded. One of their freelance producers was on here last night and I asked him more or less the same question (regarding the tameness) - his reply was that there were some 'licensing issues' which had now been resolved. Doesn't really make much sense.

He also said that the people at the station do know what they're doing but this is palpably not true. They might now see sense and start recruiting production staff who do know what they're doing but up until now it's had the production values of a do it yourself you tube channel.

The producer last night explained that he also operates the camera, so I imagine that the 'producer' basically does everything, including making sandwiches for the model (as he also mentioned last night).

Hopefully a bit more budget will allow the channel to at least hire more than one model per night. I can't think of any other channel that's even attempted running with one girl a night - how can that make any kind of business sense?

The level of obsession in this thread is getting to be quite scary, so I like to pop in every now and again to try and redress the balance, so please stick around as well!

These comments are not meant to detract from the obvious attractiveness of most of the models they so far hired, but the models need to be directed far more than they are at present.

Yes chaps, it is indeed the April effect. And what an effect...

I was on here last night while I was filming with April, and yes, I was doing everything on my own - chucking the odd comment on here for fun as we went along. 960 is a funny old situation, I only freelance for them but their heart's in the right place and they're muddling along while they test the water to see if it's worth carrying on with the project. Without giving away information that I shouldn't, there are licensing & budgetary issues that are ongoing but we're all having fun and yes, I think it's safe to say we're getting some attention sometimes. Some of the criticisms here may be perfectly valid, but they're problems that will get sorted as the channel grows. It's all down to money, as in life in general....

Personally, I'm setting up my own one soon and it will wipe the sodding floor with every other channel out there. I've been a Director for nearly 15 years for the BBC, Sky, Ch4, Bravo & Discovery Channel - so I know what I'm doing. There certainly isn't ropey camera work when I'm on duty (someone said 'nuff respect to the cameraman' on here last night - thank you). It's also important to point out that as soon as April felt tired last night, I pulled the show. End of story.

This is the ropey end of the TV business, some of the other channels have comically bad standards of production but we need to realise that there isn't sh*tloads of cash now that there are so many channels competing for the same amount of calls. That's why 960 is testing the water - I have every confidence they'll pull it together but they're being sensible with spending right now. They'll get there.

As for my channel - hee hee - just you wait......x
