What he done is disgusting in itself, but the fact he done it with one of his best mates wives is a fucking disgrace, it is appalling. He is going to be booed by his own fans, none of the team are going to want to talk to him, there is no possible way that he should be the England Captain ever again, as DrPee. said above, the England captaincy is supposed to be a badge of honour so how can you give it to a wanker with none? Another prime example that money cannot buy class. I could not give a shit if he won the World Cup as England Captain, I would still hate the prick, somebody who deserves to wear that armbadge should be Captain, not somebody who would do that to a friend. Whew, rant over.
Well a rapist is scum, a cheater is disloyal, but no way should you compare a rapist to a cheater. Anyaway who cares what he's like as a person, if he's beneficial to the England team? You don't have to live with him.
And who's to say that all the England players get along anyway? Because you're always gonna find someone to be an asshole, in any walk of life.
Yeah he's a cheat, but a lot of guys cheat. If your best friend cheated on someone not that you were with, would he stop being your best friend? I'm not condoning having sex with another mans girl, but don't compare that to a rapist. It takes two to tango to cheat, rape is a whole different ball game and I could be friends with a cheater as long as it wasn't with my GF, but a rapist is scum and deserves to be sent down.

Seriously, you need to get real. Comparing a love rat with a rapist? And Marlon King's behaviour? Oh come on, a bit over the top methinks comparing him to Terry. There probably isn't a single player in the current England squad who doesn't have a skeleton or six in his cupboard somewhere, and that would probably go for most of the teams in the upcoming World Cup. And your "badge of honour" comment regarding the England captaincy may have been correct in Bobby Moore's day, but those days have long gone. Bloody Rio Ferdinand "forgot" (don't make me laugh!!) about a drugs test a few years back, a far bigger crime than Terry's in my book, and he's been captain a few times since!! Rooney's had hookers in the past, he's admitted as much (i'm sure Colleen was impressed with that!!) but it didn't stop him captaining his country against Brazil only a couple of months ago......
If you're looking for somebody "whiter than white" to captain England amongst the current squad, you'll have a VERY long wait.....

RE: JOHN TERRY A DISGRACE TO ENGLAND!
I know England captains have a duty off the pitch also but at the end of the day Terry's never been shy of controversy off the pitch, and Capello knew this yet still chose him as captain because he is a fantastic captain and leader on the pitch and a world class defender
As long as this whole kerfuffle doesnt affect his performances i see no reason for Capello take the captaincy or drop him from the team. No decisions should be made by him at least until the dust settles as its very easy to make rash decisions.
Ill admit though this is probably my Chelsea bias talking
Also are people forgetting that our LAST England captain was involved in a story very similar to this...
As Colino says, unfortunately its gonna be very hard nowadays to find a perfect England captain
Terry - had an affair
Lampard - had an affair
Cole - had an affair (im spotting a pattern with the Chelsea players )
Gerrard - beat up some guy and hit a kid with his car
Ferdinand - missed a drugs test
Could go on

RE: JOHN TERRY A DISGRACE TO ENGLAND!
People get hurt from cheating too, just because it isn't illegal doesn't mean that it is above reproach, it was a scummy thing to do, give that captaincy to David James, he is the only only one with the ability, leadership experience, overall experience and morals to deserve it, he takes time out of his life not to fuck his friends missus' but to do work for charity. I agree the rest don't really deserve it, I mean you have:
Becks: Cheated on his missus
Fat Frank: Cheated on his missus
Terry: I think you know
A. Cole: Cheated on his missus
Rooney: Cheated on his missus
Gerrard: Found not guilty but still was involved in shit
Even the sideliners that could play if they were fit have done shit:
King: That drunken pissing himself night in a cell incident
Woodgate: The assault thing in 2001
C. Cole: Questionable past that he himself admits to
Aside from James the ones that deserve it are the ones that do not really have the leadership mentality, like Milner, Defoe, Barry (has been captain for his club but does not evoke a sense of leadership does he?) and Johnson. But I would still rather see any of those Captain than that kunt Terry.
You're not for this world, this world is for you.

But this gives you another problem....David James' place in the team isn't exactly set in stone, is it? Sure, he'll be in the squad, that's a cert, but do you REALLY want to make him captain when you're not really certain that he's your No.1 keeper?
He's probably the bloke in the goalkeeper's chair right now, but another couple of major cock-ups between now and the end of the season (with him, anything is possible!!) and you could VERY easily find the country's new skipper warming his arse on the bench for the first W/C game....You need someone that's an absolute shoo-in to be in the team for every game, and James certainly isn't that.
While i agree it's a shitty thing that he's done (and let's not forget, no-one's heard his side of the story yet, not even Capello) Terry's still the best leader we've got by a country mile, which is why Capello kept him on as skipper in the first place. Providing that there isn't a "Tiger Woods style" queue of women in the next few weeks all claiming that they've dropped their knickers for him, i'd leave Terry in the job. Being led by your dick isn't a crime, not yet anyways.

RE: JOHN TERRY A DISGRACE TO ENGLAND!
i think pp r missing the point here. England captain isn't just on the field, there's an image u have to maintain off the field for the sponsors etc, not to mention the pride of being england captain. It's an honour, in the day and age where footballers are idolised by kids, you can NOT be behaving the way he did now, or any of the other times over the past 8-9 years. He must be punished otherwise wot message does this send to those growing up? Ppl who say it's his private life got to stop being so simplistic and actually look at the greater impact.
The fact that his teammates won't even be able to trust or respect him anymore is enough reason to sack him as captain, having to live with some1 like that 4 6 weeks or so *fingers crossed* during the world cup, will affect morale and confidence. We want the players to be fully focused on matters on the pitch, the best way to do this is to eliminate any possible distractions off it.
And people saying he's not done anything against the law, might want to look at his prior indiscretions along with the current situation.
Having said all that, i don't expect him to be sacked as captain as Capello is a hypocrite. He's pedantic about things like Twitter, this kinda blows players on twitter out the water lol
Finally, have a read of this, i thort it was quite funny lol
