I could possibly have made my point a bit clearer. I really wasn't meaning to have a go at DD fans getting excited that she was maybe
due back on quite soon. I'm as guilty as anyone on here of getting excited about reappearances, so I wasn't slating her fans at all.
I also agree with the notion that Danica,Sophia and probably Ashley being absent for a similar length of time would cause bedlam on here.
The point I was really trying to make (and I think it's a fair point) is this.
How can somebody be able to state with confidence, more than two weeks in advance, that 'Model D' (for example) will appear on a specific date
when the same party will put 'Model K' (for example) on a schedule for later that SAME DAY and she fails to materialise.
The very nature and existence of this thread is in effect a 'smoking gun' re the accusations that Elite repeatedly and intentionally lie for their own ends. I come from a West of Scotland culture where that is not viewed as acceptable behaviour,
Hence when I make the point of making time to watch Elite for a promised appearance by a model who was never going to appear that night,
I find it annoying and I feel that I'm being treated like a mug especially when such incidents seem to be on the increase.
Well. I usually manage to avoid replying when reading these threads as I do find that sometimes replying just makes matters worse but here I go.
I find the suggestion that we would lie about what girls are going to be working each night an absolute joke!
For what reason would we lie? So all the Danica fans can top up their phones with credit ready to call, tune in, find no Danica, feel pissed off and go and call another channel?
Please?
If like myself you had worked in this industry for sometime you would understand that just because we book them it doesnt always mean they come.
example we book model X for a shift and she calls up an hour before to let us know her car has broken down, her train has been cancelled, she is sick, her cat has died, her plane has been hijacked, she has been kidnapped by aliens and may not make it back in time for her next shift as well as the one she is now canceling due to traffic around Mars! I mean you try running 2 live channels 24/7 365 and see how many cancellations you get.
Lets have a vote shall we? Would everyone rather we removed the schedule?
I mean it really makes me happy when I have a great line up booked in for a Friday and then half of them cancel for any number of reasons. Last Friday when Danica went home ill, I did a little dance round my office and thought "take that Danica fans" I was so pleased!!!!
There is no gain from our end having the schedule on the website full stop. We put it there for the fans and if the fans would rather it wasn't there then we will remove it.
As for making a big thing about the return of Dionne, for those of you that dont know. Dionne is one of the founding members of the Elite Team. We are a small team here and very much like a famliy. Ms Daniels being away for 3 months may not be a big thing to everyone but it is a MASSIVE thing to us.
Just as if any of the team here were gone for such a long spell we intend to celebrate her return and wanted to let those who felt the same about Dionne join us for the occasion.
I really think sometimes people over think things. I dont know where this whole conspiracy to defraud comes from. We have a couple of TV channels and try and put on the best show we can using the best girls we can find. We are only as good as the show that we put on and we are aware that some of the girls that work for us attract a large fan base. How it would ever be in our interests to defraud or piss off that fan base?
So, please let me know if you would rather have no schedule or would like to see the schedule that we are trying to deliver each night. The choice is yours.
Thanks,
Jamie.
