Indian Premier League 2010 Discussion

The IPL will be on ITV4 this year here in the UK. It all starts with the first game on Friday and then it is pretty much two daily (9:30 and 14:30 GMT) Anyone be watching?

Of course not too much English interest in it but hope Morgan does good.

It takes 60 matches to find a winner even though there are only 8 teams in it. I might have a look after 40 or 50 matched have been played. I'd be surprised if the viewing figures are anything to speak about.

Yeah I have never bothered about it before with it being on Setanta but obviously due to that channels demise everything was going cheap for the other channels to snap up. One complaint I do have is over the qualification for the Champions League and that is they get three.

Any feeling for any team?

The combination of itv and cricket worries me - historically they've never got the hang of cricket coverage - and the ad breaks have caused enough bother in formula one coverage to suggest it's not going to be the best sports coverage you've ever seen.

Been a fantastic tournament so far!! English players have done alright, in particular Bopara. It seems to be beneficial, so why not allow more English players to be made available?

My money's on Deccan Chargers or Mumbai.
