The most mysterious thing I know of where women are concerned is the whole argument thing... It's been my own experience that I absolutely cannot win an argument with the wife. I can have reason, logic and history all on my side; I can back up my case with documented evidence and on one memorable occassion having my case backed up by third party testimony after a disagreement during a meal at a friends house. By all sensible, reasonable and logical standards I can have "won" the disagreement hands down... So how come I'm always the one who ends up apologizing and feeling like a shitheel?

As well as my own marriage, this seems to be the case in my parents (34 years), my in-laws (46 years), my best friend's (12 years) and every other successful long term relationship I've ever seen. I envy women this mysterious ability, it's like a feminine superpower or something

The point with arguments is you need to know when to quit. It doesn't matter if you're right or not. Besides you do realize that conceding sometimes, even if you are right, can get you bonus points
