What is Dead Space the Game Like?

Im thinking of getting Dead Space for either PS3 or Xbox...has anyone played it? I heard its good..

I've not played it as I'd probably get virtual motion sickness from the Zero G Combat Stuff there is a demo on Xbox Live though.

played it on pc its a good game 8/10 for atmosphere... the music plays a good part in the game but it can seem repetative at points

on the whole i would say its a better survival horror than left4dead and its a good 8 or so hours long.
8/10 solid effort

it is a great game, but you should try it on hard mode first, and try and complete it with just the one gun.
if you choose easy, and use all the weapons,it takes all the fun away!

My mate has it on the PS3, he likes it. I've read a few good reviews of it. Should be a good purchase for you.

I bought Dead Space last week for the PS3 for a tenner, was put off buying ages ago and as friend of mine didn't like it we have the same taste in games. I decide to play a demo of it and was hooked and bought it. The game plays a lot like resident evil 4 and 5 in some ways the controls are a little better as you can move while shooting. Am up to level 3 so far and am really enjoying its made me jump in a few places lol. Graphics are really good especially on a 1080p hd screen and if your playing the sound through a 5.1 cinema system it really adds to the game. But so far an really enjoying the game, juts taking me a while to get used to upgrading the items as its a little different to what am used to lol. If your a resident evil fan then i recommend you give this game a try, if you can find it for a tenner then even better .

Ive not played it but ive seen reviews and to me it looked quite good, the over the shoulder shooter.

Ive been keeping an aye on it now and id imagine since it came out a while ago, as far as games go it should be relitivley cheap on amazon.co.uk or play.com

I checked amazon soon after i posted this and its there for £9.99 bew and £6.00 ish used

if you can get it for under a tenner then its worth it .

I had it and loved it. Played it through at least 3 times.
Theres also a dvd out giving the whole story. That was an interesting watch.
