I have recently become aware that channel 901 when it is broadcasting, either EarlyBird, The Pad or BangBabes, has now got anti recording encryption embedded into it. It screws up your recording on an external hard-drive recorder, so that the picture during playback jerks backwards and forwards all the time.

Now I know this doesn't effect PC capture cards, as I can record on mine without any problems. And as I don't have a Sky+ box, I'm unsure if it effects the hard-drive on that system.

Channels 912, 948, and 959 are fine. It just seems to effect channel 901. I wonder if this has anything to do with it being a shared channel with an encrypted adult service?

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

I have had no problems recording any of the unencrypted shows from 901 in the past , i purchased a new Panasonic external hard-drive recorder yesterday and have just checked to see if it will record the pad on 901 (with Brook Lee on) and it records perfectly. The same recorder will not record BSXtream tho , every time i pressed the record button last night the screen went black and i got a on screen message saying that no signal was being received, once i stoped recording the picture came back

Thanks mate for responding. It must just be my recorder, as I sometimes get an on-screen message saying, "recording not allowed on this service".

I guess I'll just have to stick to recording to my PC, via the capture card.

Were they told to tone down again after Amanda had said they could be naughty again! But Holly's first hour on 912 was the best output they'd had in months.

dont know. didnt really watch amanda last night. amanda might have been ill not been sent home because she was too rude
