I feel very sorry for Ashley in all this.If Ashley hasnt signed on the dotted line this thread is a bit previous and now her current Employer knows her possible intentions.

Then that would be down to Bluebird for posting in the first place knowing that it would kick start the replies, and not anyone on the forum

Exactly. This Bluebird Official had better wise up quick. Whilst the sex industry in any form isn't exactly a virtuous business, there's a slight difference between the meat market of porn compared to the glamour world.

Using the girls to fight some pathetic battle will alienate a lot of people before they even start.

Yep and it's the Babestation accounting reports I had in mind. Cellcast are pretty much the biggest operation involved in the babe channels and they struggle to make it profitable.

Bluebird can easily afford to absorb losses on the babe channel operation and recoup that by making more from the extras. Having said that, they're already looking into the idea of making one or more of their channels encrypted with a subscription fee involved so they'll be doing all they can to make it profitable.

Lets be real about it, DVD sales are and have been for years now in decline. The pay per night market is also in decline, porn is freely available all across the internet and Bluebird have just spent the last few years sinking fortunes in to recording content that from what I have seen isn't even that good!
interactivity is about the only area of potential growth and if they intend on as you suggest absorbing losses here then where will the money come from?

it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out if you continuously spend more than you make eventually you will run out of cash!

I think what we are really seeing here is nothing more than the sexual fantasies of what appears to be a slightly deranged character in Mr Bluebird. Anyone seen the Batfucks trailer? Maybe Mr Bluebird cast himself better than we thought there? Maybe he really believes he is some sort of comic book character who is smarter than the whole world and will prove so by achieving world domination! Well I've seen a lot of movies and doesn't the deranged psycho always ends up losing?

Also who on earth would want to wank over this shit? After all isn't that what this is all about?

I think the way Bluebird have handled themselves throughout this stinks of arrogance and a hugely over inflated EGO.

My impression from Caty's usually very upbeat yet cautious comments on here and elsewhere is that she is quite levelheaded and canny and not prone to commenting on something like this without a certain amount of thought.

For her to make such relatively steely comments on the subject of Bluebird suggests that perhaps the steamrolling of Elite's roster isn't going to be as smooth a process as some had expected..

up until december i was not on the net.so before that i would have paid good money to see a little extra.
including most of the elite babes.and bluebird are arrogant yes.
but last year i knew nothing of the babechannels but i still watched waiting for something interesting to happen and i would gladly buy porn with any of the babes on it.
my point being there is a lot of people out there who don,t know and some who don,t care. so long as they drop on vid with ashley emma or whoever.

Some companies don't need to make a profit. Certain companies thrive when they make a loss.

What can be said about Bluebird is that the man behind it is known world wide for his expertise in the world of money.

Those who are predicting that Blue Bird will fail and go bust need to search for the bigger picture.

I predict that in less than a year the 900 channels will be the exclusive domain of Blue Bird.
