Megaupload

Just wondered if anyone else has encountered difficulties uploading to Megaupload since yesterday evening.
Working very intermitantly ie a little spike of upload every minute or so.

no problems uploading for me this morning it worked fine.

I can't say I've had a problem uploading files too Megaupload, other than getting the usual undefined error.

But there has been a problem with people downloading files at peak times. But that is an old problem that never seems to get any better. You just after pick off-peak hours to download.

I don't use their upload manager, as it tends not to work 80% of the time. I tend to upload direct from there front page.

So I don't know if it's a problem with there server, or our suppliers.

I didn't even know you could just do it from the home page.
Given that, what is the point of megamanager?

It is a rather pointless bit of kit, I stopped using mine a while ago.
You do get a better, more consistant upload speed on the home pages, the only problem is that you can't pause uploads.

Well MegaManager was a good idea if you wanted to schedule several uploads at one time, or if you wanted to download multiple files.

But the fact is, MegaManager doesn't work. so Skully is right, it is a pointless piece of kit.

Hi guys...I am confused (nothing new ! ).....I have a Premium account
with Megaupload and use the Manager to download files....which
works fine for me....and I can also download files from Megaporn
using the same Manager.
But when I attempt to download from Megaporn direct it asks me to
create a Premium account first ?
So does ONE account cover Megaupload/porn/video etc or not ?

Hi mate,

You don't get access to them all with one premium account.
I have a premium MP account which gives me access to MV (as should your account with MU) but I can't access premium content on MU, I've tried.
You should be able to download files up to 1 GB as a free user on MP, so I don't know why you're being asked to create a premium account...strange?

Thanks Skully.....I had wrongly assumed that because I could
download from Megaporn using the Manager (and the download is at
my normal speed) that when I went to Megaporn direct I could
choose the "premium speed" option rather than the slower free one ,
and that is why it asked me to create a premium account.

If that makes sense ?
