24 Season 8

I think they fucked up killing Renee, coz its so obvious whats gonna happen, Jack goes crazy, does something stupid, gets shit deep in trouble and saves the day, rinse and repeat, which sadly it has been for the past few seasons, i just hope thay nail it with the movie.

Couldn't have put it better myself synerd, what i didn't get it is why did the sniper wait for renee and jack to be in two different rooms surly it would have made more sense for them to be in the same room and take them out, as they don't know if jack knows anything. All its done is put jack into mad man mode just didn't think it made any sense. I hope your right about the movie being better. It feels like with the last couple seasons that they have made it up as they go along instead of planning the season carefully.

actually it does make sense, he only cares about taking out renee, he knew from following up until the apartment that she hadn't figured out who he was, so killing just her made sense, and i presume he was unaware of who bauer is.

also renee's death was planned from the start, Annie Wersching has said so a few times about it.

yeah they keep using the same tired old routine, make jack mad and well all be entertained but its gotten old. theyve worn it out and were never able to bring it back to its dominant form. Theres alot riding on the movie so i for one am hoping they pull it of, if not it would not be a happy ending for the 24 legacy.

I agree with you there synerd, the one saving grace is that you know that jack is gonna on the rampage now. I did think the lines between the former president and the current one was a master piece. I wish he had been in it a later sooner.

Yeah when Jack's on a rampage, Things get real interesting. I totally agree having Charles Logan back was almost genius but like you said, he shoulda been in abit earlier coz you just know he's gona mix things up.

I think the actor who plays Logan is brilliant he plays the role so well that you really hate him but yet like him at the same. You know his acting his role when he manage that. Haven't seen someone command such a role since cherry was around in the early days of 24 .

You hit the nail on the head kalel about logan, i genuinely hate him i remember at the time me and my mates just thinking that he gotta be the worst president ever in 24 history, he's sly, sleazy and so messed up but then i forget the character and just think that's some damn good acting.

Theres gonna be a ep of logan on the phone with current president which for us in the uk will be shown not this sunday but the following sunday and i heard the scene with what logan does he steals the show once again

At last a return to form for Jack Bauer just wish he had been more like earlier the series, logan for me has stolen the show the guy you love to hate. I wish he had been it a lot sooner too, where i think its been weak is president taylor one min she's rock hard and won't take crap from any one and then the next min bending the rules like no ones business i know she's doing it for peace but in the past she wasn't willing to bend the rules and within a few ep's that out the window. Apart from that am enjoying it now its just shame it had to take this long to get good.
