Supernatural Season 6 (may include spoilers)

Well... after that ending, it poses the question, how the hell is sam back? am guessing he's not lucifer powered anymore at least.

they said season 6 is going to be more personal, sounding like the usual stories with no huge arc.

also with the showrunner gone, does that spell doom already?

wonder if castiel will be back?

guessing chuck won't be in it, now we know he's god...

With the fact that God brought Cass back - perhaps he did the same for Sam

But after making Dean make the promise that he'd having a normal "apple pie life" perhaps he doesn't want to disrupt that by letting Dean know he is alive - unless there is something darker afoot

when you say god, you of course mean Chuck

well surely that promise only applies if he's dead, he's back now, so there's a loophole

Of course there is always the possibility that the whole thing will feel totally contrived since Kripke only ever intended 5 seasons

The 6th could be a whole heap of studio bosses wanting what is a ratings winner to carry on regardless - or simply a return to the original 'monster of the week' type episodes as The Winchesters carry on ridding the world of demons etc, back to the day job now that armageddon has been averted

Or, the 'Sam' that we saw at the end of season 5 was infact still Lucifer. Lucifer taught Gabriel/the Trickster all his tricks - so being able to conjure up a few illusions, such as 'sam' in order to trap Michael in the cage would be childs play......and also eradicates his main source of competition in terms of biblical lore

This would also explain the disappearance of Chuck at the end - as he 'disappeared' in much the same way as the constructs did when the Tricksters constructs did when revealed as such

Or, indeed, Chuck is God

I'm not sure about season 6 really. Since kripke has left as showrunner I'm not sure it will be as good.

chuck cant be god! if he is the fact of deans necklace burning in the presence of god, is nonsence. as on many occasions he was around chuck and nothing happened. i even went back and watched it again to be sure.
and there was the time dean went to punch chuck and castiel appeared and told the boys chuck was a prophet of the lord. surely if he was god, castiel would have noticed something then!
and for sam returning, something has to be up with that! with the lamp smashing outside as he appeared. i know they the producers are going back to the original plots, but i still hope they have a decent arc storyline to keep the longtime fans interested.

its basically implied he is god, the necklace is either a fuckup by the writers or it never really worked in the first place. plus god is in hiding, whereelse better to hide than pretend you're a prophet?

yeah i agree with that statement, but with the necklace being a fuck up by the writers...that would just be shit!

Supernatural Season 6 returns in the u.s on the 24th of september, also a family member will be appearing as recurring character in this season heard its supposed to be dean and sam's grandfather.
