RE: UFC
I had Sanchez on my accumilator i posted, well that`ll teach me to do my homework i didn`t realise Hathaway was 14-0, i thought he put on a good show given the opponent & it was his main card debut. Bisping looked good again, but like last time it was on the back of a loss in a big fight, he needs another big name in one of his next two fights and needs to win it to show he can hang with the title contenders.
The Rampage v Rashad fight? was typical of few main events of late, BIG build up & a BIG let down, the UFC needs to put it`s foot down with some of these big name fighters, i know there`s a lot at stake in a big fight but to not have much of a fight at all is a rip off when the US ppv costs $50, some of the fighter seem to have their heads elsewhere and i for one "pitty the fool" who don`t go into the octagon 100% commited.

RE: UFC
rampage wanted to counter a much too quick evans, should have taken the initiative & closed the space quicker. if he was younger & hungrier we'd have seen a more aggressive fight. rampage looked way too gun shy, something he learned training with bisping perhaps? hathaway was i nice surprise, very impressive. diego's not big or strong enough for the welter's tho.

RE: UFC
You say that about Sanchez but didn't he win TUF fighting at middleweight?

RE: UFC
thats true, but half the MW contenders were blown up to make up the numbers that season. besides, having aspirations of a UFC title against tested, fully matured opponents with weight cutting experience is a whole different challenge to TUF. especially for a grappler like diego. long arms & good take down defense = nightmare for diego.

RE: UFC
UFC 114 was a good event overall, even if the main fight with Jackson & Evans was a bit disappointing...

One factor you have to take into account is ring rust for Rampage, but the first big punch was landed by Rashad and that was key. Rampage didn't get going until the final round and could have finished Rashad (Herb Dean was close to stopping the fight). I think Rampage at his best might have stopped him in that round, but he had nothing left. The final round prevented the fight from being a real let down, as the first couple of rounds were disappointing...

Impressed with Hathaway, he won with a fair bit in hand against Sanchez. I enjoyed seeing him punish that punk Diego... Hathaway has a good attitude too, which makes a change.

Bisping did enough to beat Miller without too much trouble, but that's the problem with Bisping... He only does enough to win, against the best he'll always struggle unless he steps up his game.

Missed the Nogueira fight, but the Duffee & Russow fight was amusing... Bit of a "one punch wonder" KO in the final round from Russow, after being totally dominated by Duffee beforehand.

I'm here to help - if my help's not appreciated then lotsa luck, gentlemen.

RE: UFC
I just found out today that Frank Mir is considering a move to Light Heavyweight. I dont like the guy but i think it'd be better if he did move considering the formula to beat him is to hold him and beat the shit out of his face. From my point of view, he doesnt really have that much of a future in the Heavyweight division anymore.

Im very excited for my fave UFC fighter, Junior dos Santos getting a big challenge in Roy Nelson. Id say JDS takes this if he stays on his feet and doesnt get held on the floor.

Also, how heartbreaking is Todd Duffee's loss. I hope he isnt one of those guys that throws bombs but cant take them. Mike Russow's head is made of iron.

RE: UFC
Think there are too many big heavyweights that can knock Mir out...Seems like a big softie lol
Duffee looks cut off the same block if you ask me..If Russow can spark him out, then he's had it!
If you don't have a solid chin it's always gonna play tricks on your mind...bladewave

Although all these dudes can sparkle each other..shocked
