RE: Currently playing/enjoying/hating.
The game i hate at the moment has to be Tekken 6, I was a big tekken fan till i played this game. They made the game so unbalanced, the computer seems to be able to counter any move that you end up doing. You get hit even when your on the ground and have no way of being able counter or move out of the way so once you get hit to the ground you can't do anything about it and as for the last boss oh dear they made him way too powerful and cheap, whereby he can hit you with three moves at the same time, he hits you on the ground and you can't do anything about it. You'll end up beating him in the end but by your 40th go of playing against where is the fun in that. For me Namco took a once great game and ruined it, this reflected by the poor sales of the game over here and in the u.s. I though maybe i was only one that had problems with it but when looking around on the game forum's across the internet many gamers have had the same problem with the game and lot of people have actually sold there copy of it or taken it back for refund. I admit am not world class at the game but can hold my own on it but having these kind of problems makes the game less fun, My fav tekken for me had to be number 4 it the right balance, don't get me wrong tekken 6 was a decent game loads of modes and a huge number of fighters to pick from and load of online modes but the problems i have bought up ruined it and could have simply been fixed with a patch, which capcom are actually doing with super street fighter IV to make things a lot fairer. Namce are now making tekken 7 which i hope to god is a lot better then number six, not sure if i will be keeping my copy of the game, but if your a tekken and you love playing it your better off with tekken 4.

I nearly got Tekken 6 a while back, but I'm now glad I didn't. Over escalated difficulty and cheap CPU opponents are a problem common to beat-em-ups, the worst example I had with it was Mortal Kombat Trilogy on the PS1.
Started playing it, tons of playable characters, great stuff I thought. But by round 4 (regardless of chosen difficulty level) it became next to impossible to win. Gave up after an hour and traded it in.
Tekken 5 was a bit like that as well; if the CPU decided that it wanted to hit you with a 8-hit combo then thats what would happen. No escape, no surprising the bastard with an unexpected move, nothing. Whatever move you made, the CPU would instantly counter it, or interrupt it. It didn't always do it, but you can tell straight away when the CPU isn't gonna let you win.

It was exactly the same in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD on XBLA, I got to the 4th fight without losing once, and then it took me about 20 goes to get through that fight, then I just couldn't do the next round, it was impossible, and if you set the difficulty to the maximum, which I believe was 7 in that game or set it to the minumum (1) then it was the exact same, the difficulty was just there for show, the game was set to cheap and you couldn't change that. I eventually completed the game by setting the rounds to one and setting a couple of hours of my day out for it, but I then deleted it through sheer hate.
And Dead or Alive 4, the final boss in that was fucking ridiculous, I completed the game with every character, there were 20 (15 basic with 5 unlockables) and I beat her first time with only one of those characters, and I only managed to get one 'Perfect' on her on my second try fighting her with Brad, and that is only because his Drunken Master style is so unpredictable and powerful. She could teleport and take off half your life bar with one attack, and was faster than any character in the game, cheap as fuck.
On topic, I am playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 atm, and apart from a sore arm I think it is excellent, though not as good as the reviews currently give it, it is nowhere near the 3rd best game of all time.
