Sorry old chum we agree on a lot over in the UFC thread but we`re gonna have to cross swords on this one.
If king Kenny wanted to be a football manager he wouldn`t have been out of work for the past 10 years, he played & managed Liverpool & Celtic, he has theoretically only managed 2 clubs of his own managerial accord Blackburn & Newcastle, if he was a career manager he would be in a job by now like Roy Keane, Paul Ince even Tony Adams is out in Azerbaijan. We need someone who will be around for 5,6,7+ years all these 60+ managers are a bit old for that, Liverpool need on the pitch at least some long term stability, as much as i`d love to see Roy Hodgson at Anfield i think Manuel Pallegrini is a better option, although i think we could get Kenny back for 1 season & then go for Mourinho from Real, i just don`t see Jose & Real being a good match.

RE: LIVERPOOL for sale
I met Kenny at Anfield last season & yeah he`s a top jock, i`m just as if not more passionate as the next red but he`s no longer a football manager, we need someone who is up to date with the latest scouting reports & unknown players, Rafa had been watching Elijero Elia at Hamburg with view to a £10m bid, he came on for Holland today & changed the game i don`t know if the king would be aware of this kind of player (who will now be linked with a £25m move to Man City) remember Houllier signing Sami Hyypia for about £2.6m, allegedly we`ve only got £15m to spend so we`re not gonna be competing for the big money signings & we need to bring in 2/3 good players & i`m not sure Kenny can pull off many Hyypia type buys?
If we`re gonna get someone for one season then we should try & get Fabio Capello, England play 5 qualifiers next season & none of them are difficult but i don`t see that happening. Manuel Pallegrini would be a good appointment he`s done well in all his jobs & speaks good English & Torres would appreciate him coming over from Spain.
