RE: Next England manager
here's a crazy idea, go with it, i dont think we need a manager, we should just start a poll before every match and let the fans pick the team and just get a motivational speaker to give them a pep talk just before the game to get them pumped. that way the fans cant fucking whinge everytime they lose a game and give credit to the oposition for just being the better team ( on the day ) simples

This remark by brummie is not correct. The top premier teams do not want to buy in foreign talent at the expense of youth development. Quite the contrary. Clubs like Aresenal and Chelsea spend huge amounts on youth development but very little these days on transfer fees. The problem is that the youngsters in their youth academies are often foreign - look at the players that Arsenal have nurtered in their youth academy - Cesc Fabregas, Nicklas Bendtner, Alex Song, Gael Clichy, Aaron Ramsey, Carlos Vela and others. Then look at the Chelsea academy - Fabio Borini, Gael Katuka, Miroslav Stoch, Franco Di Santo, Jeffery Bruma, Jacob Mellis and others.

Yeah same goes for Liverpool under Rafa, he also sold Adam hamill & Danny Guthrie then spent about £16m on Babel & Lucas who are both the same type of players as the two English players, Jack Hobbs a good centre half came & went & has just been voted Leicester player of the year, Liverpool fans are crying out for Jay Spearing to be given his chance should Rafa have stayed he would of been sold!!
