Playable Game Demo's

Getting back to the Split Second demo,i liked it,i even won which for me is amazing as i'm totally rubbish at driving games i have to admit that there were times when i had no idea what was going on when i first played but still managed to finish in the top three. I hope the full game is a lot harder though because if i can win a race then it will be way too easy for all the hardcore gamers out there who love these racing games,it was a lot of fun though.

well i have the full game (split second pc) and to be honest its likely i will not bother finishing it. i have done 3 episodes so far won about 5 or 6 cars with very little effort. it seems a little to easy and has little in the way of a learning curve.
the game looks good with nice lighting effects for a dx9 title. some of the traps are cool 2. i got hammered by a ship on a slip way but 1s you know it can happen its reasonably easy to avoid.
some of the events don't seem that well though out and end if you take first place instead of letting you go on to rack up a score (it would have been better if you could push to see how far you could make it on the single player achievement runs)...
all in all a solid start of 7 out of 10 but after a few episodes its dropping a point to a final 6/10 as it doesn't have the keep on playing factor.

Got the Medal Of Honor beta code, so far am loving this game looks like its gonna be really decent, needs tuning up here and there but so far its looking and playing really good .

I've just been messing around with the two monkey island demos and there not to bad, well if you like those kinda games which I do, so might have to look into getting the full games.

The Latest Demo's games out for the PS3 And 360 are Alien Breed Impact and Vanquish.

Just Got a email from sony and was given a demo of God of War: Ghost of Sparta for psp, haven't played my psp in years. Took me bloody ages to hook it up to the net as i need a software update. can't play the game yet till the psp is fully charged so i can update the software .

Out now on Demo are Pro Evo 11, Fifa 11 and heavy rain move edition.

Also out for the PS3 are Beat Sketcher which uses the move, echochrome, kung fu rider, sports champions uses the move, start the party which uses the move, the shoot which uses the move, tumble trial, tv superstars uses the move, space invaders infinity gene, nba 2k11, enslaved odyssey to the west, racket sports uses the move.

Played both the ENSLAVED and VANQUISH demo's today and have to say they were both damn fine,as a youngster I loved the TV series MONKEY and as a crusty old fuck I love video games so combining both in ENSLAVED is a winner for me,the demo was quite short but fun and the graphics were pretty good but the best thing was the controls,just basic move,jump,hit,hit harder,block and that was it,took a second to get the hang of,loved it,can't wait for the full game which looks like it owes a lot to UNCHARTED 2 in the gameplay and colour scheme which is no bad thing.
The VANQUISH demo was a whole different bag of crazy and possibly the most manic thing I've played since BAYONETTA which makes sense as they're both by Platinum Games. The graphics are as good as ENSLAVED but in a shiny futuristic made of metal kind of way,the controls are a LOT more involved but there is a tutorial and after I went through that I fired up the game part of the demo and that is when everything went frantic,basically it's just a case of go forward,fight,kill everything in your way then move on but it's all done on overload with soldiers to fight then more then some mech things then a bloody great big mech thing that just when you think you've killed it transforms into another mech thing with better weapons and all the time your doing jet powered knee slides into cover that blows up in seconds so your off again running and shooting and knee sliding into more cover,forget brain training play this if you want to give your brain a workout,and that was just a demo the whole game is going to be exhausting but a lot of fun.

Just been playing the star wars unleashed 2 demo and this game is amazing. graphics brilliant along with the sound and game play looking good too. From what i've seen and played of the demo this game is gonna be great. Haven't played the first aside from the demo but this one looks and feels a lot better the game demo is out for the PSN and I think should be out on Xbox live download this game and give it a try .
