RE: Full nude on TV
The PIN argument has been brought up a few times before. All Sky viewers know it is possible and it would solve all of the 'inappropriate viewers' issues and yet still it is not done.I think this is one of the few cases where it is not entirely the fault of Ofcom. If you could see explicit adult entertainment for free just by entering your PIN at any time of the day why would you subscribe to the pay-per-view channels? There is no way a channel could continue to show censored material under PIN protection for very long before the viewer started to ask questions. I think the Adult broadcasters would be in a mass panic if Ofcom ever insisted on 24 hour PIN access for free-to-view channels.

RE: Full nude on TV
the reason these channels get fined is because some fucker has complained about the content.
i dont actually give a toss about these channels going full nude. any girl getting her twat out on a low rent tv channel will have done porn so its not exactly very impressive.
i do give a toss about what has happened to playboy though. it used to be full on nudity from 8pm onwards. now i think it starts at 11. and better than this it shows naked news (vaginas censored) as a pg rated show. if anyone wants to complain to offcom about that i would support that.

Yes, Naked News but Not Naked, what idiots!!
You think that's bad,it used to be available as a download on '3' and the shows name was changed to 'Topless News' and the 'nether regions' cut out of frame!

I'm still a little hazy over what Ofcom's argument is -it has shifted position a number of times. The regulator's guidelines say the nudity or sexual activity must be contextualised. In which case, Five could have shown in full, footage for Sex Tips for Girls without fear of censure. After all Sky is able to broadcast Lover's Guide XXIII ad infinitum.
Movies for Men shows the 'erotic' series Diary or whatever it is called - this is a full nude sex film shown without pin protection. It has the contextual content of any porn film ie, woman meets man, man charms woman, woman gets her kit off, man fucks woman, woman smokes post coital cigarette. Similarly Bravo show a number of shows with explicit non protected scenes.
I can only surmise that someone at Ofcom has a phone/snatch phobia because as soon as someone flashes their gash while talking into a phone exemplary penalties soon follow.
God, or whatever you believe in, help us if Ofwank ever gets hold of internet policing. I heard today that a £20 tax was being proposed as a means of deterring illegal downloads. Sweet fucking Jesus, common sense in this country has exited down the shit pipe.
