RE: LIVERPOOL for sale
I think the Syrians bid has been dismissed as bullshit Mitchell.
Also Keith Harris is rumoured to be working for the yanks in a bid to bump up the price..
Why else would a buyer say the club is worth more money than whats being touted!!
I just read a piece there quite interesting.

RE: LIVERPOOL for sale
It's about time all this shit came to a halt, everyday new name's are being thrown in to the hat it's becoming silly. I'm starting to doubt that when it's all sorted, at some point we'll be back to square one just like when the Yanks came in.
This is from the guardian piece,
'Although the message of prudence, at a time when CIC's dumping of £351.4m of Morgan Stanley shares has conspicuously not generated any money for transfer activity, might dishearten fans, it should not be interpreted as a lack of team investment. CIC would be purchasing a debt-free club and would be capable of taking out smaller, more affordable loans to finance team strengthening this summer.'
Yeah it says "CIC would be purchasing a debt-free club and would be capable of taking out smaller, more affordable loans to finance team strengthening this summer". Errr purchasing a debt free club, ummm where have i heard that one before, why would a company worth $332 BILLION need to take out "smaller more affordable loans.
Not to mention the endless amount of traveling the players will have to do on pre season tours of every single Chinese province.

RE: LIVERPOOL for sale
It's already been stated that there'll be no Man City style transfer funds being spent, i think it'll be more of a case of building the stadium & then letting the £40m or so gate receipts do the talking in the transfer window, untill then it maybe a case of, here's £15m & what ever you make from sales, which is fair enough but i still dont like the fact they are short/long term investors. I think with maybe one more signing & this Mascherano thing sorted we'll challenge this season anyway???
