Red Dead Redemption

Beats GTA IV hands down IMO... would definitely recommend it

Just picked me up a copy of it and I'm about to get stuck into it now

I've just found out there's an achievement/trophey for completing 20 story missions without switching to a new horse at a hitching post,a good enough reason to play through the single player again I think

For anyone out there who's still wavering over buying this game, it's vastly superior to the curiously joyless GTA IV. A more engaging storyline, smoother controls and the shooting mechanics actually work, unlike the frustrating and often random nature of shoot-outs on the game's spiritual cousin, GTA IV. I got rid of GTA IV without bothering to complete the main story mode. I really can't see myself doing that with this game.

Just completed it last night had to buy the game again as the fucking disc had a crack in it, but managed to pick it dirty cheap. I agree with Mister Gummidge it pisses all overe GTA 4, which at the time i was looking forward to playing it and got bored of it and never finished it. My fav GTA was vice city and the next one because you could fly but apart from that was well disappointed with the 4th one. Red Dead still has a couple problems to with the controls still being a little sluggish and i've had glitches with graphics i.e trying to pick the flowers and they disappear and and then reappear, then online mode is ok. Would love to see Some Single missions being released as DLC's but they seem only to be online ones at the moment., but apart from that i love the game anyone that has a PS3 or 360 to pick this game up .

Has anyone purchased the Undead Nightmare dlc that LG posted the video for? If so, is it any good and was it worth the money? I'm always a bit wary with dlc, since a couple of them don't end up being good value for money in the long term.
