Gotta say brummie, the most intriguing thing for me this off season for The Redskins,is who's going to win the Shanahan/Haynesworth battle? If they trade him, they've already paid him most off the guaranteed money so someone will get a top DT for a bargain,if they keep him Shanahan would have to back down and lose face,if they release him there will be 31 other teams waiting to snap him up.

I reckon it could be a make or break year for Lovie Smith,i like the pick up of Julius Peppers though, but i still think The Bears are a top receiver away from competing.
It's rumoured that the Seahawks are going to cut T.J. Houshmandzadeh, someone like him could be a real difference maker for a team like The Bears or The Raiders.

RE: NFL 2010/2011.....It's back!!!
Hoped to see the 'New Improved Raiders' last night, only to see the same Raiders as last year and the year before etc.,etc.
Really disappointing.Fumbles, penalties and chaotic offensive line play, and that was just the first quarter! Plus the defence giving up huge plays added up to a stuffing.
There were a few bright spots,Darren McFadden had a good game, getting 150 combined yards, averaging 5.3 yards a carry.Apart from the 76 yard TD run by Chris Johnson, the defence played Johnson quite well.So it was all the more disappointing to give up the big one. Many teams will struggle against The Titans and CJ,so at least The Raiders won't be alone there.
The less said about the O-Line the better, felt a bit sorry for Campbell, the receivers went missing and he didn't look comfortable at all.
Happily it's only week 1 though,so it's not the end of the world,at least it's something that can be worked on before next sundays game against The Rams.
A bit shocked by the game between The Seahawks and The 49ers,i had The 49ers down to steamroller the NFC West and The Seahawks there to make up the numbers,so for Seattle to win easily was surprising.
Good game between The Redskins and the Cowboys, not much offense to speak of,Miles Austin the stand out player. But the final 3 seconds WOW! i didn't see the flag at the time and thought the Roy Williams touchdown was good and nearly fell off the edge of my seat.
Really looking forward to the game between The Jets and Ravens tonight, has the potential to be a classic.
