Thanks for the interesting stuff on Sex Station, Partyland etc guys. I don't have Sky but I love reading about the history of the shows. The following adds some of the more recent date info and a bit more Partyland/BS merger trivia for anyone interested. This relates only to Freeview…

Partyland’s Freeview show began at 01.01 on 20th March 2009, Channel 50. Its arrival had previously been announced to Channel 46 viewers by Lolly Badcock, shortly after midnight on Party Girls, 15th March. Caty Cole and Reede Fox introduced the first PL show – Alex Adams and Daryl Morgan presented the second. The original eight acts were Caty, Reede, Alex, Daryl, Karina Currie, Candy (now Kandi), Ella Jolie, and occasionally, Lolly. Other additions to Partyland before it began merging with BS were (in order of appearance) Jenna, Sammie Dee, Lilly Roma, Roxanna Milana, Angel Long, Jade Victoria and Louise Porter. Between 22nd May and 1st June, the moderator would read out texts on the mic, under the name of Captain Partyland. The show's name changed from Partyland to Partyland Live on or around 25th June '09. The Sexstation 3G feed, already streamed to Partyland, was also streamed to Babestation from 16th July, giving some visible indication that the shows were starting to merge. BS-style graphics (with mobile number beneath the main number and a tab for the girl's name) replaced the former PL OSGs from 8th August. The first serving BS girl to appear on Partyland was Lori Buckby, on 5th Aug '09. Through August, PL began to interchange girls with BS, but PL remained in its original studio and hence there would be no switching from show to show in the course of a given night. Also appearing on Partyland in August (old studio) were Morgan, Jada, Tiffany Chambers, Camilla, Paige Tyler and Charlie C. Tiffany and Camilla worked exclusively on PL during this short period. Many Partyland sections in spring and summer were shot outside the studio (see pic).

PL moved in with Babestation in early Sept '09. I have the date down as 4th Sep, but that could be a day or so out. The first instance I’m aware of in which a girl worked both BS and PL in the same night, on freeview, was Flo on 10th Sept. From 17th Sept, Partyland became the only freeview babe show to retain a text box. It lost this facility when BS Xtra replaced Party Girls (CH96) on the night of 27-28th Oct '09. At the same time, the spacious BS Partyland set was moved upstairs and squeezed alongside BS2 and BS1, opposite the new BS Xtra room, which I believe was formerly the office used by the girls for some sections in summer '09.

Yes i saw the stair way section they did on BSdaytime , i thought it was good , before the all the BS night shows were screened on freeview they used to use the stair way set on the night shows and they used to be very good , i wonder if they will reintroduce it for the night shows again ? , i hope so , i really used to enjoy those sections .

I rang LDM not long ago & all i saw was the camera going round in circles & zooming in & out, why do the cam guys do that???? It's so fucken annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!

All i can say is thank fuck LDM's moving channels hmm no more stupid black boxes & shitty camera work! It's just a pity the other girls don't go with her...

I called Megan earlier, the camera work was okay but the background noise was a joke. While I was in the queue I could hear loud music being played, and worse, the backstage staff shouting along to the chorus! When I got through, Megan asked them to turn it down so she could actually hear me, and they had a go at her (in a jokey way, but still). This is one of the worst problems these channels have. Surely, considering people call in to talk to (or listen to) the girls a quiet studio is a priority. Normally a girl will get them to keep quiet if you ask, but that just reminds you there's a room full of people listening to you, and you've drawn attention to yourself. It shouldn't be a issue in the first place.

negative.. our offices are above the BS studio

which channel weas it on Partyland used to be bad for it as its all one studio get background noise from the the others as well as the producer had got ok but seemed to have crept back over hte last few weeks mind you had same thing on BSx a few weeks back with music although was marvin gaye lets get it on good choice as i was getting it on with paige at the time

It was BS1, and Marvin Gaye, funnily enough. Partyland does seem to get more noise from other girls on the phone, maybe it's a one room-two bed set up like Bang Babes. As I said, it varies from night to night (and even during one night), probably depends on which producer it is.
