Without wishing to defend "the management" can I just say that we don't know all sides of the story.
The first thing we have to remember as to who goes on the roster is that most of the girls have a number of other commitments and it comes down to their availability. Some make adult videos, others have modelling contracts and do photo-shoots for magazines, newspapers etc and I've even heard of Michelle Moist being a DJ! Their work on the Babe Channels will only form a part of their income and has to be fitted in around other things as like footballers, they have a career of 12 - 15 years at most and must make their money whereever they can whilst they still have their looks.
In an ideal world they would be able to work the particular shifts they want in a particular week to fill in the gaps because they are doing other things on the other days but if you have 14 or 15 girls to roster you won't be able to please everybody and won't always be able to give them what they want (eg what happens if nine girls want to work Wednesday but only two want Thursday?).
As somebody who has rostered staff in a workplace I can assure you that some will quite happily accept the shifts they have been given whilst others will complain like buggary if they can't get what they want. Therefore, it might not be unreasonable to assume that there could have been instances where girls have turned down shifts or "thrown a sickie" because they had a better offer elsewhere. If one or two girls have appeared more than others recently it could be because they don't jerk the management around and have a reputation for being reliable. How many times in recent weeks have we only had one girl on BB for the first 20 or 30 minutes after 9.00pm? Don't suppose the others were late for work by any chance?
And dare I suggest that this is a very competitive world and you are bound to have a lot of girls with...shall we say "strong personalities".... and spats are inevitable.
Managers can be jerks - we've all experienced that - and there is nothing worse than a good employee getting treated badly because the management find it easier to ignore or appease a troublemaker than deal with an issue (don't worry, it will come back and bite them on the arse in the long run) but unless we know all the facts we cannot come to a fair conclusion.
The reason I like Babestation's presentation style is that they actually encourage the girls to talk about their activities. A few months ago Geri was interviewing Paige Tyler and Paige said she wouldn't be around for a few weeks as she was doing a photo-shoot in Italy. We have heard the same from Karina, Louise and Kandi etc
That's fine, and I would therefore hope that Adele announcing that she isn't going to be around for a while is due to nothing more than her doing some external work followed by a holiday*, so enjoy it and we look forward to seeing you back
(*.......but please, Adele, not a honeymoon in the Caribbean!!
).
