Now, now hitmeuptop, let's not be gloating. You know with those fuckwits the Glazers in charge, the money from the Ronaldo sale available for first team transfer funds, tell me again what happened to that, Liverpool are just a slight ghost of the enormity of the haunting of the spectre of the debt that is hanging over Man United.
But, but, but we're servicing the debt. Yes, yes you are but have you seen how much the G's are taking out of the club to service their other debts in the US.
So profits from a club, in a huge amount of debt, are going to finance debt. How long can this last. Not long I'd suggest.
I take no pleasure in the demise of the two giants of English football. Seriously.

as soon as our set of yanks finally give up on trying to make a sucess of their little buisness adventure and realise they're gonna have to sell up which eventually they will have to do, thier will always be a few buyers out there. i.e the red knights to take us over. so nothing to drastic is gonna to happen to the club. hopefully. im clearly not in the know as your good self seems to be
admit it captain your liverpool arnt u ? dont be embarrassed there's quite a few ov ur kind on ere.

RE: Liverpool FC
Vimesy.... Oh sorry Vice as he's now known, is a dirty Toffee!!! "Acknowledged".
As for the Power Rangers trying not to take over the dirty scum, if the alleged sum of around £700m is correct then that is one hell of a chunk of bank volt & how much of this if any is the paying off of debt NESV style... uptoppy will know more on that than me, but anyone paying that much to buy shit aint gonna be rushing to spend anytime soon.
Ok the sponsorship & stadium revenue will come into play there but thats only if the Power Rangers don't borrow to buy or only pay off a percentage of debt. Man Rangers aint gonna be doin no Real or City style buying for a while yet!!!
Back on thread topic, Jay Spearing & Martin Kelly should be getting first team opportunities by now especially Kelly & Roy Hodgson coming out with Oh i don't know about that or what ever he said won't exactly fill them with confidence.
Years not months is a bit silly boys come on!!! as you saw against Napoli, we've got the makings of a good squad, it just needs to be given the right formation & i'm beginning to doubt Hodgson has the balls to change it...

RE: Liverpool FC
Hopefully he won't follow Rafa's recruitment process & bring in every foreigner on the planet, we need to get back to the academy of the 90's & start looking for young players like Gareth Bale, Jack Rodwell & Jack Wilshere, & stop letting players like Adam Hammill & Jack Hobbs go.
