Recommend a tv series

Halloween is coming....and not just on the babeshows

I'd normally advise you to watch 'Most Haunted Live'.
However I think that Yvette Fielding has retired from the show.

Instead Living television is broadcasting a replacement called 'Paranormal Investigation Live'
It's probably made by the same team but will focus on actually evidence.
May be work a watch over the weekend as a change to the babes

I was reading about that today and it seems that the medium Chris Conway left and made a statement that in effect he chose principles over fame and money. a lot have interpreted this has he left because the programme was faked. If you read the quote he doesn't actually say this, infarct the opposite and it reads sour grapes because he moans about now having enough air time.

Still it's enough probably for living to hush away the last series of most haunted and cancelled most haunted live.

Because the last live programme earlier this year it was all systems go and I remember Yvette saying something about see you for the Halloween special.

So it seems he sunk it.

They where their own worst enemies though they couldn't keep goign on with the same criticisms and expect to be able to continue, the no camera showing the whole room, the camera always on their faces, the hysterical screaming of the two idiot woman because of a tap in an old house, the clear acting of Stuart and Karl etc.

Instead of Yvette giving jobs to family and friends, they should have got rid of all them, had her and Ceiran and made it more like ghost hunters, perhaps it would have survived.

apparently there's a series 14, maybe that will be aired tucked away at 10 Wednesday with no advertising.

Most Haunted never got over the Derek Acorah scandle.
I'll never forgive them for condeming a famous witch who was hanged as an evil spirt.
She was a catholic who was included with a few old women with Dimensia.
Therefore it was time for a change.

It's ironic most haunted exposed Derek.

I'll give the one this Saturday a go, I like the idea of a science vs spiritual angle.

Quite like ghost hunters/ ghost hunters international, did quite like sensing murder, till one of the main mediums was filmed giving a false reading.

Still, I'll miss most haunted at Halloween, it was like a ghost story at Christmas.

Caprica officially cancelled

Quote:Syfy has just announced that it is cancelling the Battlestar Galactica spinoff series CAPRICA. The remaining first run episodes of Caprica – airing Tuesdays at 10/9c – will be removed from the schedule as of next Tuesday, November 2.

Syfy blames the ratings and not the quality of the show for the decision behind cancelling it. There are five more remaining episodes in the season and they will be re-scheduled to air at a to be announced time in the first quarter of 2011.

Well I gave this paranormal investigation a go. Unfortunately it turn out to be more of an psychology study.

What's the point of starting sonic sounds just to see what the reaction and effects of the people in the castle are goign to be? You might has well run in knock on the door and run off and see what their reaction was. Odd.

You have to make sure there is NO other noise and interference in a paranormal investigation not create them.

At least most haunted was entertaining.

season finale of dexter? im watching season 5 ep 6 atm. i do prefer to get a whole shows seasons and watch them back to back, till i catch up to the current.
i did this with dexter, breaking bad, prison break and battle star.
hopefully you guys will have more suggestions.

as for most haunted i lost all interest in it when they brought the chubby lady in with the condescending tone, (she did the history lookups on the live shows). cath and yevette were just getting settled and actually starting to do popper investigations, they bring the fat wife in and they all start screaming like banshee's and running in the opposite direction to what ever happens.
also the lack of real evidence was starting to tell, they didnt bother with evp, had little in the way of test equipment, and relied to much on "psycics".
